BIOGRAPHY

Kaili Godfrey is a visual artist from Southern California whose work explores the fluid nature of memory, presence, and emotional residue—how people and experiences are not simply remembered, but felt, reinterpreted, and carried forward. Her practice engages with the tension between attachment and impermanence, inviting viewers to consider what lingers beneath the surface of recollection.

Kaili was born in Manhasset, New York and later relocated to Southern California where she studied Drawing and Painting at California State University, Long Beach. Since graduating in 2023, she has exhibited work in spaces throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.

Kaili is currently working on a series titled The Burden of Performance and offering inclusive art instruction throughout Orange County. Her studio is located in San Clemente, California.
